Marc Colucci's Lemonade was featured in a story last night on CBS Evening News with Katie Couric. With a successful premier under its belt and media buzz too boot, Lemonade will continue traveling around the US and Canada for screenings, with sights set on film festivals soon.

Lemonade premiered a week ago at Harvard Square's Brattle Theatre to an audience of Boston Advertising and Production heads alike. The film's DP Peter Nelson made the trip up as well as CBS News correspondent Seth Doane.

Having already been submitted to Sundance and with several other showings lined up around the country and through Canada, Lemonade's message is resonating with a wide and diverse audience.

Over two shoot days with Everett High School's legendarily dedicated players, cheerleaders, coaching staff and fans, Huet captured the spirt of teamwork that has set both Everett and Eastern Bank apart from their competition. The spot is currently in post in the able hands of our friends over at Edit Bar.

Headed up by recently laid off ACD/Copywriter Erik Proulx, Please Feed The Animals aims to provide a supportive space for recently unemployed advertising professionals. Under Colucci's direction and the masterful lenses of Peter Nelson and Will Van Hazel, Lemonade chronicles the transition of a handful of these professionals as they learn to enjoy their new freedom to pursue their dreams. Picture Park director John Huet's web magazine was given still more attention yesterday when Communication Arts named it their "Webpick of The Day". The current edition is comprised of a collection of photographs Huet shot over the course of his year in China, documenting the Beijing Olympics. The photographs were then compiled, arranged and annotated by art directors from the likes of Mullen and beyond. If you have not yet had a chance to take look, make sure to check it out.

Where is Marc Colucci, you ask? Yes, we've been missing him too lately. For the past couple months, through the beginning of April, Marc has been working on Slip & Fall, his feature length directorial debut. Starring Andrew Divoff, Sam Cohan and William Forsythe, the film channels National Lampoon and is slated for release in 2010. Exciting? Very, but we can't wait to see Colucci back in here soon.

To great acclaim, John Huet recently launched the second edition of his stunning online magazine, reflecting on his year spent in China for the Olympic Games. Collaborating with agency creatives from Mullen and Weiden + Kennedy Shanghai, Huet uses his lens in conjunction with the art direction and copy of his agency partners to narrate a story. The film, entitled Next Day Air, chronicles the story of an ill-fated deliveryman (Scrubs star Faison) who accidentally incites a drug war after delivering a package to the wrong address. Late this past fall, our own Jonathan Bekemeier teamed up with Cashman+Katz to create two new spots for the Connecticut Lottery just in time for the holiday season. Also recently, Danbury, Connecticut resident Donald Peters suffered a fatal heart attack at the age of 78. In an interesting twist of fate, however, one of his last earthly acts was to purchase two Connecticut Lottery tickets, one of which was a $10,000,000 winner*. Would Peters have purchased the lottery ticket without a pleasant reminder courtesy of Bekemeier's lens? Check out the spots below, see if you too feel the $10 million urge, and decide for yourself.
